Default The Aurios Mines: Connection to the Deldrimor Dwarves?

Here is a copy and paste from GW Wiki:

"Relics of a mysterious race, possibly an offshoot of the Deldrimor dwarves, have been uncovered in this productive jade mine. Though not as large or strategically vital as the enormous Jade Quarry, the Aurios Mines are of great importance to historians and scholars."
— In-game description

I was wondering if us users of GwG could explain why the Deldrimor Dwarves were mentioned in the first place, and how in the name of the six gods did they happen to land in the middle of inland Cantha?

Maybe the same tunnels that brought over the dredge?

Or the "Asura" Gates are far more older than we think and thus they were the creations of a long forgotten race. And then it's possible that the network did extend to the Canthan continent as well.

One plausable theory - think how eotn is accessed y all 3 campaigns , elona and tyria are connected as we know so maybe the underground tunnels are a lot deeper than anyone assumes.Dwarves are meant to be excellent miners so its actually possible - uk has the channel tunner to france so whats to say dwarves didnt do anything similar - or even branch ( or tunnel lol ) out to other continents.
The possibilities are endless and only anets loremasters would be able to give reasons

And another thing is... why are the deldrimor dwarves' stone form a green color? Or to be even specific a jade-like color? Do you guys think the dwarves may have originated in Cantha? This is all speculation but the resemblance of the immortal dwarves and jade is too similar. Plus the connections that the dwarves may have once settled in the Aurios Mines.

I would like to point out a key word: possibly an offshoot of the Deldrimor dwarves. This means it is just similar to deldrimor design. Doesn't mean they are. However, as I brought up in this thread which is a research of the Depths of Tyria, there are far more similarities between the structures of Tyria and Cantha (and even in Elona), so the Aurios Mines may be part of those similarities.

I believe there were many races before humanity (as the Depths of Tyria predate humanity according to the EN manual) who created structures in Tyria, Elona, and Cantha - with Tyria being a bit of a mixing pot.

As for the the deldrimor dwarves' stone being green. Huh? I never seen them green, the ones in EN appear to me as a bluish grey color, not green. Perhaps it is the lighting?

Oh, and it is impossible to have setteled in the Aurios Mines seeing how that it smack dab in the Jade Sea - unless they were breathing underwater or ship dwellers, they were not there. They could of been around there, however. But I find the most likely situation, given our knowledge, is that there was some ancient trade with the Deldrimor Dwarves and Cantha, and shortly before the Jade Wind a ship or two lost some containers of dwarven relics.

Hyozanryu may have been referring to the Droknar's uniques from the end of EOTN, which are a bit blue-green in colour.

Still, the weakness in this argument is that the Jade Sea has only been jade for two hundred years, while these artifacts are presumably from much longer ago, probably before (the current) human settlement of Cantha. So unless Cantha has a tendency to get itself petrified on a regular basis, I'd imagine any such link is entirely coincidental.

Well, at the southeastern corner of the Aurios Mines mission there is a small, but inaccessible island. Perhaps those artifacts were found on the island and not frozen in the jade.

Then it's entirely possible that there was a race/group there whose objects/relics are very similar to those that were made by the Deldrimor Dwarves, and that these fellows had the means to access that island (portal or ship).
